It is extremely disturbing that there are still those who continue to say they “REALLY LIKE” Governor Huckabee but are afraid he is unelectable because he doesn’t have enough funds. I keep reading about big name conservatives who wont endorse him because he’s not electable, and not electable because he doesn’t have money. This is ridiculous logic! Of course he doesn’t have money! You’re not giving it to him!
If Huckabee doesn’t have enough money it is only because all those people, who are voting against Hillary and not for their conscience, have swallowed all the media hype and are looking to settle for second best. They’ve been deluded into thinking second best is the only way to beat her. If we conservatives settle for second best – Hillary will win. And if we think best is not the way win the election ,we will not back and contribute our money, to the best.
When I was in high school I was on the track and swimming teams. When we went up against the best schools in the county we NEVER beat them with our second best runners and swimmers. If we had tried to do so, we would have lost badly. As it was we became one of the best schools in the county, and eventually the state, because we supported our best and used our best – and won. The same principle applies here.
However, the idea that he is not electable because he doesn’t have money is a frightening concept. Think about it. The idea that anybody might not be electable due to their socio-economic status grates against the American Dream. What’s the American Dream? When I was growing up there was a music group named Jay and the Americans who had a best selling song called Only in
If Mike Huckabee is not electable because he doesn’t have enough money, the American Dream is dead; no-one who is not rich does has no chance at the presidency.
